2CH Dual Starvis 2

Record every moment with exceptional clarity. The U3000 PRO features Sony's STARVIS 2 sensors—IMX678 in the front and IMX675 in the rear—for sharp 4K & 2K resolution. Whether you're driving at high speeds or through reflective surfaces, crucial details like license plates remain readable and well-defined.

Dual HDR

The U3000 PRO's front and rear cameras apply High Dynamic Range (HDR) processing to deliver smooth, lifelike video. By adjusting for both light and dark areas simultaneously, it maintains balanced exposure—revealing important details others might miss in glare, shadows, or sudden lighting changes.

Super Night Vision 4.0

Designed for low-light performance, Super Night Vision 4.0 uses Sony's STARVIS 2 sensor and advanced tuning to brighten dark scenes while preserving detail. Nighttime drives are recorded with clean, well-balanced visuals—even on dimly lit roads.

Parking Surveillance Mode

Records footage triggered by impacts only, allowing the dash cam to reduce power consumption and remain in Parking mode for a longer duration.

Smart Parking Mode

Extend Parking mode duration by automatically switching the U3000 PRO to a low-power mode if the temperature inside the vehicle gets too high during Parking mode. In this state, the dash cam records incidents triggered by impacts only until its operating temperature is safe again to resume Motion Detection or Time Lapse Parking Mode.

Dual Radar Mode

Get front and rear protection while parked with the U3000 PRO's Dual Radar Parking Mode. When motion or impact is detected, a 20-second video clip is saved—including the moments before and after the event. Now with 10% lower power consumption than the U3000, the U3000 PRO offers smarter, longer-lasting surveillance without draining your vehicle's battery.

THINKWARE CONNECTED

Now with revamped Basic and Premium plans, the THINKWARE CONNECTED** App makes it easier than ever to stay linked to your vehicle. Pair your U3000 PRO with our optional LTE Module* for reliable, on-the-go access. Monitor your vehicle remotely, get instant alerts, and access key driving data all from your smartphone, or computer.

Wayy better than Blackvue between customer service, LTE subscription pricing, and hardware capabilities. Hands down reccomend

It’s like having a professional security system for your car

I installed the U3000 PRO 4K Dual Dash Cam in my car, and I’m honestly blown away by how advanced it is. The Sony STARVIS 2 sensors deliver stunningly clear footage both day and night — license plates, road signs, even tiny details are sharp and easy to see. The Super Night Vision 4.0 really lives up to the hype; night footage looks bright and natural without glare or noise.
The radar-based parking mode is a huge bonus. It detects movement precisely and records only when necessary, saving space while keeping my car protected 24/7. The built-in Wi-Fi and GPS work flawlessly — I can review videos right from my phone, track routes, and share clips instantly.
Setup was surprisingly easy, and both the front and rear cameras look sleek once installed. The overall build quality feels premium, and the app interface is intuitive.

    Clear and colorful images.

I had the original U3000 system with rear dash cam. I absolutely loved it. Was in a car accident, car totaled, but the Dash Cam did its job. Other person lied to the cops, and I was able to show them the front and rear video footage. I still have the camera but unfortunately i would need all new installation cables etc so I decided to get the U3000Pro which is being installed. The updated rear camera is a bonus, plus i added the LTE. I know some complain about the price, but the fee includes a 3 year subscription. I honestly want it, because i want to be able to connect to the unit any time. I had a verizon jet pack that kept it connected , but that would turn off after a while. The fact that i can connect at any time now, is fantastic.

My dashcam doesn’t always exit parking mode when vehicle is powered on. Sometimes continuous recording won’t start until driving about 5 minutes or so. My vehicle is an Audi SQ6 electric

    High-Quality Dashcam That Delivers

Great quality dashcam that’s easy to use and gives real peace of mind while driving. The video is clear, the design feels premium, and it’s obvious this product was made by drivers who understand everyday road situations. Reliable, well thought out, and backed by accessible customer support. Highly recommend Thinkware!

Reliable LTE Add-On with Solid Basic Plan Included

I do not love that the THINKWARE U3000 PRO Dash Cam requires an external module for LTE coming from a BlackVue LTE model, but the unit itself works very well. Installation was straightforward and I was able to tuck it away out of sight in the vehicle. It includes both a short and a long cable, which makes routing easier depending on your setup.

Everything arrived in good condition and setup was simple. The upfront cost is not insignificant, but the included 3-year basic LTE plan adds meaningful value since you do not need to purchase a separate data plan. For most people, the basic plan is more than enough for receiving impact alerts and reviewing parking events.

One important parking note: when the vehicle is turned off, the dash cam switches into parking mode and you can remote view it without issue initially. After roughly 10 minutes, it transitions into a low energy state to conserve power. In that state, LTE will only wake if an impact is detected, at which point you receive a notification and can then remote in to view footage. If you choose other parking modes that keep LTE active continuously, you will likely see reduced recording time depending on your vehicle battery or external battery pack. One of the best benefits of THINKWARE dash cams is the radar parking mode as it allows for much longer periods of parking protection so radar mode will likely be the mode you already have set so be aware.

With that caveat understood, the module has been reliable and performs exactly as expected. If you want remote alerts and vehicle connectivity features for your U3000 Pro, this is a solid and dependable solution.

This is the best dash camera on the market. I have this installed on my Explorer, and it has saved me so many times. There is not a better dash camera out there.

Very good dash cam but suffers in Android implementation (Pixel 8 pro took hours of support and time to finally connect. Still ridiculous that I have to disable Android Auto, Surfshark, and all other wifi before using) Surfshark is a particular problem as even though you are disconnected in the ‘running apps’ settings it often says running (but isn’t doing anything) and that kills the connection too.

The desktop software currently doesn’t work on a Mac. It puts you in a loop that you can never open a folder or image even if you give it full disk access permission. You can go back to the old Intel one for now and right-click, open the info panel, and choose to open with Rosetta. You should not need this too often, just download to your phone what you want anyway.

Mounting was a breeze and installation like most other cams except the OBD connect is fantastic.

Just purchased the U3000 Pro front and rear, not able to zoom in and get a clear image using the cell phone of vehicles or license plates, you have to use 3 different apps. First app. for live view for the moment in time, second app. you have to be setting in the vehicle to review past and present images, or take the card out of the dashcam and install into laptop or computer, third app. checking the Ivolt Xtra external battery pack you have to be setting in the vehicle, Blackvue cloud you can view all 3 away from your vehicle, is easier to use and safer when viewing for dangerous conditions, [if someone damage your vehicle]

Don’t able to get clear images of license plates or people not only at night but in daylight, also to many different apps you have to use in order to review images, no zoom option using cell phone, I don’t understand how the images that the company is showing is so clear?

I have trusted Thinkware Cameras for years now, I always go for the flagship model because of the features, clearity and ease of use. They have never let me down.

This is a serious dash cam set up. It seemed too complex at first but only took driving around for a day to get used to it. Using manual record to effectively mark incidents to be able to quickly scan through volume of videos. After a couple days, it really does not seem overwhelming any more. Called CSR only once for help Zzz. CSR was very patient. Great product and company. I highly recommend both.

  16. Anonymous (verified owner)

Instructions and the app are not very intuitive. The app is so-so and is painful to connect to the dashcam. Plan on removing the storage card to view the videos in detail. Otherwise, the camera itself is good clarity and good recording.
