The cable even though the barrel connector has three contacts only has two wires. Therefore it can’t be repurposed for proper hardwiring 🙁

I’m guessing this will not allow parking mode to work since this is a 2 wire system.

Hello Imran, that’s correct. In order to enable the Parking Mode, you will need either the Hardwiring Kit or the OBD Cable.

Honestly you are awesome folks to work with however l ordered for my f8oo Thinkware off your wed site l did receive the correct cigarette lighter power cord l may have made the mistake
