THINKWARE CONNECTED
Receive impact notifications or monitor remotely what’s happening around your vehicle via your smartphone with the THINKWARE CONNECTED app.
1. Connecting the dash cam to a mobile hotspot device or a Wi-Fi network with Internet access will consume data. Carrier/Service Provider charges may apply.
2. The smartphone used to set up the Internet connection on the dash cam cannot also be used as a mobile hotspot for the dash cam. A different hotspot device/smartphone is required.
3. To connect the dash cam to the internet, use the Thinkware Dash Cam Link App. Once the dash cam is connected to the internet, you can go to the Thinkware CONNECTED app to get access to CONNECTED features.

Nice little dash cam
The Q1 thousand 2HD – cam front and rear with built-in Wi-Fi GPS night vision 24 hour parking mode sensor sensor HDR 156 wide angle with 32 GB card. It’s very nice quality. The app is kind of poor but overall this is a great product, it has great video quality. It’s easy to install. Once you read all the instructions and figure out the app and everything. It was a breeze. It’s a good value.

Update firmware manually!
When I first purchased this, I was beyond pissed because I couldn’t get my phone to pair to the camera. Spent over 3 hours in my car trying to pair. Updated firmware to the latest version via SD card. Worked flawlessly and zero connection problems. Camera quality is very good even in somewhat lower lighting. Good features on the app for setting up power saving/record triggering as well. My only complaint is that I’d rather it not speak to me every single time I start my car. A simple beep or tone to let me know it’s recording would be nicer.

After finally figuring out both of the applications required to use this system, I finally got things up and running properly. There is no way to use this without both of the applications.
As far as the camera system is concerned, it’s awesome. Video is crystal clear. Even at night. The rear camera is just as good as the front camera. The actual installation is easy. No difficulty at all. I had a Garmin DC57 before this, and it doesn’t even compare.
Just be patient the first few times trying to get everything synced up and online. It’s well worth the time and effort.
If you want the peace of mind that comes with a dependable drive recording system, this can’t be beat for the money.
