Super accurate and high resolution
If you are looking for a high resolution dash cam with accurate recording, this is it. I’ve been using next base bramd for many years, but since it has monthly fee, decided to try this one which made me satisfied. First of all, both cameras have high resolution lens which makes reading small stuff like license plates easy. Second, front camera is easy to install which is like plug&play, but rear one needs to wire up all tge way to the back. Third, app works properly which makes watching videos easier. In addition, comes with a SD card, but I suggest buying a 512GB for more storage.

Essential security upgrade for my BMW
After finding my BMW unplugged at a charging station with no witnesses, I invested in this THINKWARE setup. Six months later, it’s caught two parking incidents and saved me from a fraudulent insurance claim.
The 4K front camera quality is exceptional – license plates are crystal clear even at night. The 2K rear cam surprised me with how well it captures details through my tinted rear window. The HDR really shines when exiting parking garages into bright sunlight – no blown-out footage like my old dashcam.
Parking mode is crucial for EV owners. While charging at public stations, the motion detection has captured several close calls with careless drivers. The impact detection is sensitive enough to catch door dings but not so touchy that wind sets it off. Energy saving mode means it doesn’t drain my 12V battery during long airport trips.
Installation in my i3 was straightforward. The hardwire kit tapped into the fuse box cleanly, and the cables tucked perfectly behind the BMW’s trim pieces. The supercapacitor design gives me peace of mind – no lithium battery concerns in summer heat or winter cold. The thermal protection already kicked in once during a 95-degree day, shutting down safely rather than damaging components.

This is the second camera by this company that I have purchased and they are both wonderful. I love when you start the car it says have a safe drive today. The play back is easy with the app and you can see crystal clear the picture. If you hit a bump it beeps or if you stop short and when you go back to look in the app those are in red so you know an incidence occurred. However a bump is not a big thing but I have went back and looked when deer have run out in front of me or someone tries to pull out in front of me. I have captured a hit and run on when I was stopped at a stop sign of another vehicle and was able to give footage to law enforcement. I would never do without my cameras.

Easy install and fantastic video quality
A complete and very high quality dash camera system. Installed in our Kia Soul and it has more than enough cable to router the rear cam anywhere we want. We connected using the optional OBD2 cable which was nice to not have to hardwire but still get the parking mode recording. The app paired without issue and the clarity of the video is fantastic even through the 70% ceramic tint. Quality cam!

The best front+rear camera for the price range
I did a ton of research on front+rear dash cams, and I believe this is the best combination of quality and usability for under $300, especially if parking mode monitoring is a priority for you. The hardwire install was quite easy, my only complaint being that I had to get quite clever with hiding the massive amount of extra cable for the rear camera, even for a full size sedan. I tried tucking under the C pillar but there was just too much. Ended up tucking it into the side of the passenger side seat.
