THINKWARE Dash Cams typically include the 12V Power Cable which plugs into the 12V outlet in your vehicle.
- Powers the camera in Continuous Mode only
- Provided with most THINKWARE Dash Cams (depending on the bundle)
- Plug and Play
- Does not provide access to parking mode features and settings
- Can potentially drain the vehicle's battery if used with a constant 12V Outlet

I have two F50 dash cameras. The price was affordable and set up was easy. The power cord has enough length to be able to hide it under and around your dash. Most people don’t even notice the cable and ask how I power the camera up. I would recommend the ThinkwareF50 camera and accessories to anyone who wants a dash camera that has a great HD picture and is easy to set up and get running. Great job Thinkware !!!!!

This is a simple cable to power my dash cam. If you do not like to do hard wiring the cable and you don’t need the parking mode. This is what you need.

The cable even though the barrel connector has three contacts only has two wires. Therefore it can’t be repurposed for proper hardwiring 🙁
