PARKING SURVEILLANCE MODE
Requires Hardwiring Cable or OBD II Power Cable and installation for Parking Surveillance mode (professional installation recommended)
Parking Surveillance mode is automatically activated when you turn off the ignition, and captures footage when a motion or impact is detected so you have video evidence of mishaps like hit-and-runs while you’re away from your vehicle.
RADAR MODULE
Optional Radar Module is sold separately
When in Energy Saving Mode 2.0, the Radar Module allows the dash cam to extend its Parking Surveillance mode duration by reducing the power consumption. When a motion is detected by the Radar Module, the dash cam wakes up and gets ready to record.
If an impact is detected, a 20 second video (10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the impact) is saved in a dedicated folder on the MicroSD card. When no impacts are detected, the dash cam does not save the footage and resumes Energy Saving Mode 2.0.

The camera and product quality is top notch. But I can’t seem to get the continuous recording to continuously record first off recording in 1 minute clips is not continuously recording. I wish that would have been more clear before I bought it. But the one minute recordings have a delay of up to a few minutes between one minute clips of driving. Super inconvenient when trying to go back through an hour long trip of clips just to find it wasn’t recording when I wanted it to be. All in all great buy I just wish I could get this thing figured out I’m still trying to teach myself about all the features

The camera works as advertised but the connectivity to your smartphone is buggy and definitely could be improved. Shouldn’t have to push the Wi-Fi button on the dashcam to connect every time why doesn’t it pair with my smartphone every time I get into my vehicle? The rear camera cable should come in a variety of sizes to configure in a variety of ways not just long and extra long what about a shorter cable if I wanted to do a cabin view? Overall a good product but has potential to be a great.

its pretty nice I wish that it connected to my phone when I first get in car. it seems like they could have done this. instead I have to go to my phone wi-fi I need to push a button on the side of dash cam and it takes a few. Other than that I’m pleased

I’ve used sold and installed dozens of these units without issues. Could there be some? Sure but the majority of ‘reviews’ here are very much skewed which makes them incredibly misleading to the next potential buyer. 1 minute increment videos is intentional and you’ll also notice most reputable alternate branded units will do the same. The only purpose is to avoid total corruption of all video if it should occur- a minute or a few lost (whether it be from the card or a faulty sd card) is much less critical than losing All footage. If some clips are ‘lost’ then the first thing I would check is the recording prioritization (set in the menu) then the sd card itself- reformat it or change it. Dashcams are a bit finicky with the sd cards used- class 10 U3 is typically more than sufficient or one rated for powersports or any activity cameras would work fine. Connectivity- the point of connecting is to review footage or change settings nothing more or less. There is also No Recording while connected so why would anyone want to ‘automatically connect’ whenever they’re getting in the car? Furthermore since WiFi is being used and you happen to be near your home work etc network chances are your phone is set to ‘auto connect’ to those networks just like if you have wireless CarPlay or AndroidAuto in your car- auto connect. This means those networks will keep connecting or trying to rather than the dashcam. I suggest if you’re actually trying to connect to it for footage or settings then you temporarily disable auto connect on other nearby networks. All of this above is pretty common among most units and is also all covered in the manual so why ratings are getting dropped for things functioning exactly as they should is beyond me.

Not worth buying ! Use on Ram 1500- no adjustments, see more of my hood, then the street. Will not recognize sign in credentials. Constant “connect to wife network Thinkware” on iphone x, can’t find network. Reboot phone. Whole dash cam system “pain in the ass” not worth spending $500. Hard wire kit ? The most important parts (fuse holder) missing.
