Did not work on my 1000U. Was told it is most likely defective and that I have to send a video trying to use it to prove it before I can exchange it. I haven’t done that yet but kind of a pain in the butt.

Only reason it is one star is because there is no option for zero stars. This is for a U3000. The camera works fine. Having to go through the rigamarole of pairing and connect is a PITA. I tried to use a 256gb card but the camera times out and resets before the mem card can be formatted. The card is a Samsung 256 EVO. Thinkware requires that their card be used (the 64gb card that came with the unit works fine). They want $90 for a 256 gb card. Amazon has the Samsung for $22. Thinkware is a RIPOFF!!
Will never buy another Thinkware product.

I purchased the Thinkware FA 200 about a year ago. When the firmware needed to be updated, I was having extreme difficulty getting the job done, due to what I thought was my old age and general lack of computer skills. Before throwing the unit away, I decided to give Thinkware customer support a try. Customer Support turned out to be just that. After spending a lot of patient time walking me through the update process, the CS rep concluded that my SD card was corrupted. Thinkware is now in the process of sending me a new SD card. Five stars for customer support. I hope the new SD card works.
