Used for about 3 weeks and 15 to 20 hours driving only on asfalt and glas is broken, no sign of anything that would cause it.
Have contacted company I bought it from here in Norway, but guess it’s waste of time and my bike trip will now be without those camera.

I have had a real problem getting it to work. i connected it all up as per the instructions. when i switch the bike on all that happens is that the display show the start up oscillation of colours blue, green annd red, it then shows blue for 2 seconds approx before restarting again. so i have not really got beyond this! i cant connect to the phone and the unit is not recording anything
a bit of a waste of money
i would be very grateful for some hints on what i can do. i dont know if i can somehow reboot the main unit.
many thanks

Had no problems with this until the M1 stopped being supported by the THINKCLOUD mobile app and they made the THINKWARE DASH CAM LINK the only supported mobile app for the M1. The THINKCLOUD app was easy to download to your phone it went in the THINKWAREDASHCAM folder. Now I have to go though a convoluted process to accomplish the same thing. I don’t even know what folder it gets saved to anymore and messed up my sync software I use to backup my files. I have the M1 on two different motorcycles and used to use the manual mode to make ride videos I would post but this current mess makes it not worth the trouble.

Item as described. Simple hook up and the video quality looks great.

I installed the M1 system on my Harley Ultra Limited because I wanted a system that automatically records whenever the ignition is on. I had tried using a GoPro as a dashcam but this was a hassle and unreliable. I have found the video quality to be outstanding from both front and back cameras. I mounted the control module under the seat and used velcro to position it inside the seat split facing up which allows me to access the mini SD card without removing the seat. I really like this system.

Update: My wife almost got creamed by a car while she was riding behind me, i had the car in the cameras view for a short time both front and rear, the footage was useless, all we could tell was that it was maybe a VW suv.
They are marketing this as an “Action cam”. i have been going over my last few days of riding footage, and the video quality is shockingly bad, good luck trying to get the license plate number of a hit an run, its just awful and my cheap sub 100 dollar cam in my car that i have had for years is better. i expected so much more for the price.
Install was a pain as well, the remote mic/status part is hardwired in, it really limits your mounting location since you have to fit the rather large part somewhere you can see it.
it was a lot of work and i don’t really want to uninstall to return, i will just leave it as a forget about it dash cam and hope it helps me someday in case of an accident.
You will not be downloading footage to show your friends your riding awesomeness, you will be to embarrassed to let them know you paid so much for so little quality.
